Updated Source Protection Plan

In May 2022 updates were made to the Assessments Reports for the Credit Valley, Toronto and Region, and Central Lake Ontario Source Protection Areas and the CTC Source Protection Plan.
SECTION 51 AMENDMENTS
On May 20, 2022, the following amendments to the documents were made under Section 51 of Ontario Regulation 287/07:
- Credit Valley Assessment Report and CTC Source Protection Plan amended to reflect the decommissioning of Inglewood Well #2 in the Town of Caledon. Amendments include the removal of the associated wellhead protection area, vulnerability scoring, issue contributing area, threats, and policy applicability.
- Credit Valley, Toronto and Region, and Central Lake Ontario Assessment Reports and the CTC Source Protection Plan amended to align with the 2017 Director’s Technical Rules, including removal of vulnerability scoring for Significant Groundwater Recharge Areas, terminology updates, and minor corrections to the text and mapping.
