On February 29, 2024, the Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks approved updates to the Toronto and Region Source Protection Area Assessment Report, Credit Valley Source Protection Area Assessment Report and the CTC Source Protection Plan.

The updated Source Protection Plan came into effect on March 6, 2024.
